Bolt&Barter is a verification-first marketplace for deadstock fabric. These terms describe how buyers, sellers, and operators use the service during the MVP phase.

Marketplace scope

Bolt&Barter facilitates discovery, swatch ordering, evidence capture, and dispute handling for textile lots. Listings must describe actual inventory and include truthful YardCard data.

Seller responsibilities

Provide accurate width, fiber, stretch, weight, dye lot, and flaw information.
Only publish inventory that can actually be fulfilled.
Use proof photos honestly, including QR yard-mark evidence when provided.

Buyer responsibilities

Review YardCard details before purchasing.
Use the dispute process only for material misrepresentation.
Do not misuse seller photos, pattern references, or marketplace data.

MVP limitations

Some logistics, payout, tax, and carrier workflows are still provisional during the MVP. Estimates and placeholder labels are clearly marked where live carrier integrations are not yet active.
